NRA Personal Protection

So you are ready to carry concealed.  You have the gun. You've got the Concealed Carry Permit from the state. You've even fired forty or fifty rounds at a paper target.

Whether you want to admit it or not, you are not prepared for a real life encounter.

Can you honestly answer "yes" to the following questions:                                                   

• Do you know how to draw from concealement while you are in shock and afraid?
• Can you complete the draw perfectly, the FIRST time, and shoot within two seconds?
• Can you shoot an attacker WHEN you need to and WHERE you need to?
• Can you hit your target WITH or WITHOUT using the sights?
• What if you can't see your sights or it is dark?
• Can you reload or fix a malfunction during a gunfight?
• Can you shoot---and hit your target---while on the move?

Your CCH permit satisfies the state, but it DOES NOT prepare you for a real life encounter.  Your attacker has the element of surprise and will choose the time, place, and circumstances in which you must defend your life.  Do you have the skills necessary to survive?
